The Maine Coon is the largest breed of domestic cats. First North American feline native breed, this gentle giant has an intrinsically lovable character. He is aware of its size, making it a quiet, fearless and generally not a dominant cat. He is very affectionate and usually less active than smaller breeds of cats.
Its growth is slow; Maine Coon becomes an adult at the age of 3-4 years of age. It requires moderate maintenance. A weekly combing is enough.
